
Camagüey, Jun 1st. - Scientists, teachers, agricultural specialists, producers and students exchanged food sovereignty and food and nutritional security in Camagüey.
According to the University of Camagüey on its Facebook page, this was a new session of the Open Doors space, organized by the subsidiary Camagüey-Ciego de Ávila of the Cuban Academy of Sciences with the support of Camagüey’s chapter of the Economic Association Friends of the Country.
The meeting led to the dialogue between scientific and empirical knowledge, and topics such as seed conservation, the potential to recover livestock, and the rational use of water in agriculture were addressed.
