Cuba rejects recent Israeli bombings of Lebanon

Havana, June 28 – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez today condemned the recent Israeli bombings against areas of southern Lebanon.

We denounce new Israeli bombings against southern Lebanon, in violation of the ceasefire and international law, causing new victims and displaced persons, the Cuban Foreign Minister stated on the social media platform X.

According to the Cuban Foreign Minister, Israel continues to act with impunity, constantly threatening efforts for peace in the Middle East.

Press reports from Lebanese media report an increase in attacks by Benjamin Netanyahu's government, despite the ceasefire agreed between the parties more than six months ago.

The day before, according to these reports, Israeli fighter jets attacked southern Lebanon, marking the third wave of attacks in the last seven days, allegedly aimed at destroying military installations and weapons depots belonging to the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon (Hizbullah).
