Socioeconomic impact of non-state management forms in Camagüey highlighted

Camagüey, July 21 – The more than 200 forms of non-state management approved to date have had a significant socioeconomic impact on the municipality.

Nuria Junco Barzaga, Director of Local Development in the territory, highlighted the creation of jobs, primarily for young people of both sexes disconnected from school and work.

She also highlighted the support provided to farmers living in areas close to these actors and the recruitment of young people with degrees in Economics, Construction, Mechanics and Gastronomy.

She also mentioned the food donations made by these entities to nursing homes, maternity homes, homes for children without parental care, evacuation centers, and vulnerable families; they also support passenger transportation.

The new forms of non-state management in Camagüey's capital have contributed over 913 million pesos to the state budget so far this year. (Text: Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey) (Photo: Adelante)
