Díaz-Canel starts second cycle of visit in Havana

Havana, 23 Jul.- Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC, for its acronym in Spanish) and president of the Republic, begins today the second cycle of tour through the capital to continue monitoring the country's economic and social actions.

Accompanying the Head of State are Liván Izquierdo Alonso, member of the PCC Central Committee and First Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee in Havana; and Yanet Hernández Pérez, Governor of the capital, among others.

In this second cicle of visit, the president is evaluating areas in the municipalities of Cotorro and Habana del Este, which are strategic points for community development.

This task carried out by the president in Havana is part of his agenda of tours throughout the country. (Source: ACN)
