Santa Clara, July 24 – Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and President of the Republic, is touring economic and social objectives in the province of Villa Clara today, as part of a systematic program of visits to territories and communities across the country.
Accompanying the Head of State in this second cycle of checks in the central province are Roberto Morales Ojeda, Secretary of Organization of the PCC Central Committee, and the main authorities of the territory.
The municipality of Ranchuelo was the first stop on the tour, which will cover strategic objectives of the agri-food program, as well as local development projects.
Susely Morfa, member of the PCC Central Committee and First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of that political formation in Villa Clara, emphasized on the social network X that the President will also evaluate strategic points for community development and their social impact.
The visit will conclude with an exchange in the form of conclusions in the provincial capital, after noon this Thursday. (Source: ACN)
