Three children die from electrical shock in central Cuba


Santa Clara, August 4th.- An electrical shock as a result of a storm caused the death of three minors in the municipality of Manicaragua, in the central region of Cuba.

The children are named Jorge Alejandro de la Coba, 14 years old, a vacationer from the United States, Andy Alberto Turiño, 13 years old, and Analía García, 14 years old.

Also injured this Sunday was Diamelis Delgado, 14 years old, who was immediately transferred to the Integrated Emergency Medical Service (SIUM, for its acronym in Spanish) in this city where she is receiving medical attention.

The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in the central Cuban province of Villa Clara Suseli Morfa, together with other authorities of the territory, visited the scene to provide support to the injured and to the relatives of the victims. (Text and photo: PL)
