Nuevitas, Camagüey, August 11.- The fifth edition of the Dollhouse Festival 2025, dedicated to the twelfth anniversary of the Canyon Craftsmen sociocultural project, will take place in this Camagüey municipality on the 23rd.
The event is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at the Puerto Príncipe Cultural Center. Artists who submit their works can enter the competition on August 21st, starting at 9:00 a.m., either at the facility itself or at the Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda House of Culture.
Those interested must make their proposals with fabric in any size they desire and submit up to two works.
According to the call they will award three prizes, three mentions, one Grand Prize and one Popularity Prize.
In the previous edition of the Dollhouse Festival, nine artisans competed with 15 works, including Marlene Labrada Montero, Francisca Ruiz Arias, and Bárbara Emilia Ruiz González, with the clown Tin Tin, Francisca, and the Witch Yamilet, in that order.
