Cuba congratulates Vietnam on the anniversary of its independence

Havana, September 2. – Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today congratulated the people and party of Vietnam on the occasion of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of its independence.

The exceptional relations between Vietnam and Cuba are a reference of friendship and cooperation, built on the resistance and heroism of our peoples and the defense of sovereignty, he wrote on the social network X.

Likewise, Roberto Morales, Secretary of Organization of the Central Committee of the Party, also extended congratulations to the Communist Party of Vietnam. On this significant date, we reaffirm the will to continue deepening the excellent inter-party ties, he added.

Morales also remembered the dear leader Ho Chi Minh on the 56th anniversary of his passing, which is commemorated today.
