Cuba strengthens biopharmaceutical ties in India


Havana, September 8. - Armando Garrido Beracierto, president of MediCuba, leads the Cuban delegation attending the Pharmaceutical Industry Exhibition of India, IPHEX 2025, considered the largest platform in this sector in the Asian country.

According to the official website of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the event held in New Delhi, the delegation of the largest of the Antilles held meetings with leading institutions and companies in health, biopharmaceuticals, and medical equipment, aiming to explore opportunities for bilateral collaboration.

The discussions focused on technological exchange, joint research, and access to new markets for Cuban products.

As part of the program, the delegation met with the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba, thanking it for its recent fundraising campaign to support the Cuban healthcare system, a gesture that reaffirms the ties of friendship between the two countries.

Participation in IPHEX 2025 is part of the Cuban biopharmaceutical industry's internationalization strategy, which seeks to expand its presence in Asia and consolidate strategic alliances in the context of global health challenges. (Source: ACN)
