Moscow, September 9. - Popular American political commentator Tucker Carlson claimed that Israel had advance knowledge of the attacks perpetrated by jihadist terrorists against the Twin Towers in New York and other major US targets on September 11, 2001 (9/11).
In an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan on Monday night, Carlson also mentioned the Israeli spy networks operating in the US to document those events and how current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that the 9/11 attacks were good for Israeli interests.
Carlson explained that he did not claim that the Israelis were behind the attacks, but argued that for Netanyahu "it was a good thing" because it plunged the US into an existential conflict for decades.
The commentator also spoke of a group of Israeli art students, who were clearly not art students, who were aligned with Israeli intelligence services and were held in the US for a time before being released without charges.
According to Carlson, who claimed to cite an FBI document, a group of them filmed the 9/11 attacks and appeared to have prior knowledge of them.

The interviewee maintains that some of the evidence for his claims had not been released due to various pressures and fear of being labeled anti-Semitic. (Text and photo: RT)
