Havana, Oct. 6 – The IV International Congress "Cybersociety 2025," organized by the Cuban Union of Computer Scientists (UIC, for its acronym in Spanish), opened today in this capital.
The four-day event, held at the emblematic National Hotel, is honored to host information and communications technology professionals and experts from various countries.
It is also an ideal space for the exchange of knowledge, experience and good practices, focused on the challenges and opportunities posed by the digital transformation in society.
Present at the opening were the island's Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich, and the president and vice president of the UIC, Omar Correa and Tatiana Delgado, respectively.
Cybersociety 2025 focuses on the most relevant advances in the national technological ecosystem in connection with global trends and practices, promoting innovation, sustainability, and articulation between academia, the business sector, and communities, Delgado stated.
These four days are organized with workshops, presentations, conferences and technology fairs, aimed at fostering an open dialogue and generating alliances and commitments. (PL) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
