Havana, Oct. 9 – Cubana de Aviación announced the update of its domestic flight schedule, with operations to and from Havana, Holguín, Camagüey, Gerona, and Santiago de Cuba, according to an official statement of the entity on its social media.
Routes from the capital included flights to Holguín on Mondays at 8:30 p.m., and to Camagüey on Wednesdays and Sundays at 9:15 p.m. To Gerona, Isla de la Juventud, flights were scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 p.m.
Connections with Santiago de Cuba were scheduled for Tuesdays at 2:50 p.m. and Thursdays at 10:00 p.m. From the provinces, the Holguín-Havana route was scheduled for Mondays at 10:55 p.m., while from Camagüey, flights were scheduled for Wednesdays and Sundays at 11:35 p.m.
The Gerona-Havana route continued on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:00 p.m., while two flights were scheduled from Santiago de Cuba: Tuesdays at 6:45 p.m. and Fridays at 12:15 a.m.
The company specified that tickets must be purchased on the official website www.cubana.cu or at Cubana de Aviación S.A. sales offices, with cash or bank transfer payments, and that prices are governed by Resolution 346/2020 of the Ministry of Finance and Prices.
In its statement, the airline warned that it is not responsible for tickets obtained through third parties and reiterated that the only official booking channels are the digital website and sales offices. The entity apologized for the inconvenience caused to customers.
Cubana de Aviación, founded in 1929, established itself as Cuba's flagship airline and, after 1959, became state-owned, later becoming part of the Cuban Civil Aviation Corporation (CACSA).
The airline maintains domestic and international operations, so this schedule update is a response to the reorganization of frequencies and the technical availability of the fleet. (Source: ACN)
