Prime Minister attends closing of Cybersecurity Meeting


Havana, Nov 28.- The IV edition of the National Cybersecurity Journey will conclude its working sessions today, with the presence of Manuel Marrero Cruz, Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba.

The event, which has been in session since November 27 in this capital, brought together experts, academics, specialists from state entities, and representatives from the business sector to analyze trends, challenges, and national strategies in the field of cyberspace protection.

During the closing, the general conclusions of the Journey will be presented, which compile the main debates and exchanges from panels, conferences, and specialized workshops, whose central topics revolved around information security, the protection of critical infrastructures, citizen cybersecurity, and the necessary training of capacities in a constantly evolving field.

The presence of the Prime Minister at the closing of this forum demonstrates the high priority that the Cuban State and Government grant to Cybersecurity, as a fundamental pillar for the defense of national sovereignty, the protection of data, and the secure advancement of the informatization of society.
