Camagüey, 3 Dec. - Marlene Oñoz Perdomo discovered her true vocation shortly after graduating as a dental prosthetic technician. Since then, he has served for more than four decades at the Eduardo Agramonte Piña Provincial Pediatric Hospital in Camagüey, where he has devoted his professional and human efforts to the prevention of diseases in children.
For Marlene, each smile from the little patients represents the greatest reward for a job that becomes her reason for being. Her commitment to children's health transcends the professional realm, establishing a special bond with those considered "the hope of the world."

Recognized by colleagues, families, and patients as a responsible, dedicated, and passionate professional, Marlene is especially grateful for the support of the people of Camagüey, cultural institutions, and self-employed workers who have contributed to developing community activities in favor of health.

Today, nearing retirement, this specialist looks back with pride on her career, leaving behind a legacy of prevention, education, and care that will continue to guide new generations on the path of community health. (Text and photos: Zenia Donet García/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
