
Havana, Dec. 4 - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez paid tribute today to Ambassador Mario García Incháustegui and his wife, Gladys Delgado, who lost their lives in an accident during the hijacking of the aircraft in which they were traveling.
In a message posted on the social network X, Rodríguez emphasized that "our Revolutionary Diplomacy will remain faithful to the legacy of patriotism and sacrifice of its martyrs."
García Incháustegui and his wife, Gladys Delgado, died in a plane crash on December 4, 1977, while traveling to Malaysia, where the diplomat was concurrent ambassador.
