Several activities in Camagüey for Cuban Science Day


Camagüey, December 29 - The Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA, for its acronym in Spanish) will carry out a wide range of activities in Camagüey as part of the celebrations for Cuban Science Day, which is commemorated every January 15.

Highlights include sessions dedicated to discussing the circular economy. Also included is the provincial event "Young Science for Innovation," with the aim of sharing the research results achieved by the new generation.

Prior to this date, a course on tools to perfect or improve science, technology and innovation projects was held, in which various initiatives are put into practice.

Another activity for Cuban Science Day in Camagüey will be a meeting on January 10 at the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology to outline strategies aimed at the commercialization of products.

Also included is an exchange with institutions, organized by the Pharmacy and Optics Company, related to the implementation of the innovation management system.

Meanwhile, the ceremony to award prizes to outstanding scientists of the territory will take place on January 7 at the Major General Ignacio Agramonte Revolution Square.

It was announced that 28 individuals from Camagüey will participate in the National Innovation Fair, to be held from January 15 to 17.

The activities for Cuban Science Day will conclude in Camagüey on January 21 at a productive scientific hub to evaluate the performance of the results of the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.
