Camagüey, March 5.- There is a love that knows no limits, but rather is defined by will, sacrifice, and unconditional dedication, even in the most complex circumstances; such is the bond that unites the Camagüey mother Jeanne Cabrera Cosio with her son Daikel Rodríguez Cabrera, for whom life became more fragile just 22 hours after birth.
Since that moment, the attention towards the child has been special, due to the care he requires for suffering from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, gastrostomy, dysthermia, and infantile cerebral palsy.

However, her 14-year-old son is not alone; he lives surrounded by the affection of his family and neighbors who are always willing to collaborate for his well-being, the mother assured the Cuban News Agency.
Daikel is not a forgotten child, much less abandoned, because according to the interviewee, in the midst of the difficult electroenergetic situation the country faces, the Revolution placed a gift in their home that otherwise they would not have been able to access.
Receiving a portable power station supplied by solar panels has positively impacted Daikel's quality of life. She added that, thanks to the benefits provided by the modern equipment, she can perform procedures for the child such as aspiration, aerosol sessions every four hours, often daily, continuous ventilation, as well as blending his food, giving it to him at the corresponding times, and keeping his medications at the required temperatures.

She expressed that she considers it a very nice program, which provides the family with peace of mind, because faced with repeated blackouts, on many occasions they had to admit him to the Eduardo Agramonte Piña Pediatric Hospital in Camagüey, and now he can stay at home with the necessary care and the permanent help of Public Health, a sector she thanks for its constant concern and support.
With Daikel, she learned the true meaning of being a mother, because despite him being her second child, she recognizes that there is a special magic in him, transmitted through a tender glance or the most innocent of smiles, reason enough to continue fighting alongside him for his health and for his life.
