Vertientes, Camagüey, March 7 - In the municipality of Vertientes in Camagüey, eight renewable energy modules have been distributed to guarantee services in fundamental sectors for its socioeconomic development.
In this first stage, four were delivered to the public health sector, distributed among the Noel Fernández Nursing Home, the Emergency and Urgent Care Unit, the Maternity Palace, and the Hospitalization ward.
Also benefiting were the two bank branches, the Bank of Credit and Commerce, and the Popular Savings Bank, currently of great importance for payments to the retired population and other financial operations.
The municipal Funeral Home was also prioritized, a place of great sensitivity for the people of Vertientes, as confirmed by YamiléFernándezCancillo, the local mayor.
In an exchange with the personnel from COPEXTEL, the entity in charge of installation at the sites, it was learned that the kit includes four solar panels, the inverter equipment and the battery, with an installed capacity of 2KW.
