Camagüey, Mar 9.- Several actions are being carried out in the provincial capital with the aim of implementing the Government Program for the recovery of the National Electroenergetic System.
In this regard, financing was granted through bank loans to entities and individuals for the acquisition of solar panels and other equipment that contribute to the energy matrix change.
The amount approved so far exceeds 25.5 million pesos, benefiting small farmers, self-employed workers, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
Similarly, La Vigía branch of the Popular Savings Bank was given a sum exceeding six million pesos for the installation of solar panels, which allowed for the improvement of services.
Maintenance was also carried out on more than 21 kilometers of service roads along the 220-kilovolt lines and transmission substations, as well as the replacement of insulators on structures, among other actions. (Text: Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey) (Photo: Internet)
