Camaguey, Nov. 25- The piece that occupied this weekend the billboard of the Avellaneda Theatre of the city of Camaguey, was the renowned Murder in the Haversham Mansion by the Nave Oficio de Isla troupe, which is in the city in the middle of the celebrations of the 19th Edition of the National Theatre Festival, being this staging, the debut of the young artist Ledier Alonso Cabrera, as director in charge.
Nave Oficio de Isla, led by the renowned actor Osvaldo Doimeadiós, is characterized by its integrative vocation; they find place there, theater, dance, performance, visual arts, music, literature and audiovisual products.
The spectators had before their eyes an individual who died as a result of a murder committed by one of the characters who parade on the stage, all linked in some way with the victim and several of them related to each other.
While the case is being solved, we are witnessing a double story, which will be that of the group of comedians trying at all costs to develop and bring to the close of the curtain the show they have proposed to present.
During this process, we witness a plot plotted with how many unexpected and accidental situation can take place in a theatrical performance: from the forgetting of its lines by an actor, an element that the prop to a piece of the scenery that comes down, going through a real catalogue of adversities that go in crescendo and make the true delight of the spectators.
The show also functions as a kaleidoscope, the play can be received as a comedy of the absurd by the general public, valued as a parody of the theatrical work by colleagues of the guild, while it turns out to be a tragedy for its characters, Determined to carry the work through despite all errors and accidents.
