Havana, May 25 - The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Raul Castro, and President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Thursday chaired the second extraordinary session of the National People's Power Assembly (Parliament).
The lawmakers of the 10th Legislature will debate the draft Social Communication Law, a regulation that has been on the make for six years, a period during which hundreds of people have participated in the drafting and consultation process.
Other topics for debate on Thursday in Parliament are the update of Cuba’s economic situation, the analysis and approval of the legislative schedule for the current term, the creation of the permanent working commissions and the parliamentary friendship groups. (Text: Prensa Latina)
