Havana, Nov 6.- The member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CCP), Shi Taifeng, is on an official visit to Cuba until the 7th, local media reported.
As part of his work agenda in the Caribbean nation, the vice president of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and head of the CPC United Front Work Department, will hold meetings with high party and parliamentary authorities, which will contribute to the consolidation of the excellent existing political ties.
According to a national television report, the Chinese leader visited the Mariel Special Development Zone this Sunday, located in the western province of Artemisa.
During the tour, the general director of the entity, Ana Teresa Igarza, presented to the distinguished visitor the potential of the area and the main businesses implemented in its 10 years of founding. (Text and photo: PL)
