Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla: in the face of the blockade, justice is demanded


Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, today assessed the statements of European and American judges, prosecutors, experts and witnesses who presented themselves before the International Tribunal against the embargo, developed the last two days in Brussels, Belgium, to expose the damage caused by this criminal policy.

Justice is demanded, the Cuban Foreign Minister said in his account in X regarding the growing effects caused by the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States government on the living conditions and development aspirations of the Cuban people.

"We appreciate the statements of judges, prosecutors, experts and European and American witnesses, who exposed the growing effects caused by the US economic blockade. to the living conditions and development aspirations of the Cuban people. Justice is demanded".

After the evidence presented, the Court ruled on Friday in favor of the worldwide demand for lifting the inhuman siege that violates international law and numerous human rights, damages the sovereignty of third countries and characterizes as genocide, said the head of Cuban diplomacy in a second message.

"After reliable evidence and testimonies, the International Court vs blockade in Brussels ruled in favor of world complaint #UnblockCuba. Confirms that this inhuman encirclement violates Intl Law. and numerous human rights violations, infringes the sovereignty of third countries and characterizes as an act of genocide"

In what is considered another momentous victory for Cuba, the United States was found guilty of violating international human rights, treaties and laws by enforcing the embargo against Cuba for more than 60 years, according to the verdict of the International Tribunal, which ended today in the European Parliament a trial on the case.
