Havana, February 13.- The Cacahual-Ciudad Deportiva 2024 Half Marathon, initially scheduled this Sunday, has been postponed, in correspondence with the information recently provided by the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation.
In its place, a 10-kilometer race will be held on February 17, in honor of the 63rd anniversary of the Cuban sports organization.
It will take place on the official circuit of the Sports City, which includes Vía Blanca, Boyeros, Santa Catalina and Primelles streets, used for the same purpose on different occasions.
The start report will take place starting at 6:00 am in the Ciudad Deportiva parking lot on Vía Blanca, the same place where the start will take place at 7:00 am and the finish line will also be located.
In addition, a mixed relay competition is called, made up of two runners, a man and a woman, who will each do 2.5 km.
When formalizing their registration, all walkers will present their Marabana 2023 number, whose number is official in the database. The relays will receive an identification on their bib number.
On February 15 and 16, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, registration will take place at the offices of the National Commission of Marabana-Maracuba Races and Walks, in the Sports City.
It will be competed in the free category and the first three members of the relays in each sex will be awarded, as well as the best runners from Ansoc, Aclifim and Anci.
The popular race in each municipality and province will be carried out according to the program conceived for the celebration of the 63rd anniversary of Inder.
