Minister of Communications highlights the impact of technological events in Camagüey (+ Photos)


Camagüey, February 26.- The Minister of Communications, Mayra Arevich Marín, accompanied by her work team and several general directors, verified in Camagüey the favorable reception of the technology and electronic commerce fairs.

During her visit to the Technological Forest, she had an exchange with people from Camagüey, workers in the sector and representatives of entities that, as usual, participate in systematic meetings held in the province.

These events encourage the use of payment gateways, promote actions for digital transformation and strengthen ties between economic actors.

During this tour, the minister recognized its importance due to the possibility of bringing services closer to the population, in that sense she highlighted the need to show incentives and use the Enzona and Transfermóvil payment gateways, although progress is being made on these issues, there is still a way to go. to go to enable these conditions effectively.

She was interested in the projects of the Citizen Innovation Laboratory, paying special attention to the development of the autonomous work of the Ciudad Santa María Tourism company, whose ideas benefit users in the Historic Center of Camagüey and the territorial development of the city.

Arevich Marín, praised the initiatives of the Young Computer and Electronics Club that seek to bring services closer to the communities and provide attention to the students of the José Martí and Manuel Fajardo schools in the capital city, which also celebrated Communicators' Day with educational robotics contests and workshops.
