In this regard, he pointed out that 2,700 hectares of that food are owed to the plan of the previous campaign, so in this new stage alternatives will be sought to guarantee the preparation of the land and reach the total figure of more than 10,800. hectares.

In the province, he highlighted, the municipalities of Camagüey, Sierra de Cubitas, Nuevitas and Vertientes will decide the course of the Spring Campaign, especially this last town, where 20 percent of the plan is concentrated.

Currently, he announced that the challenge is to make the most of the municipality's potential, in order to seek stability in the production of basic products such as cassava, sweet potato and banana that will ensure the nine thousand 410 hectares planned for these months.

He considered that as part of the efforts to increase productive yields, the recovery of the Mayor General Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz productive center is of vital importance, where the repair of roads, irrigation and electricity systems is promoted, while improving the conductors that were in disuse and the preparation of lands is promoted.
