VI Round of Venezuela-Cuba Migration Talks (+ Post)


Havana, April 4.- Cuba and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela evaluated this Thursday the behavior of the migratory flow between the two nations and addressed consular issues of interest to both countries, during the VI Round of Migration Talks held in Caracas.

The meeting was chaired by Rander Peña Ramírez, vice minister for Latin America of the Ministry of Popular Power for Foreign Relations of Venezuela, and Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, vice minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, the Foreign Ministry of the largest of the Antilles stated on its website.

During the work sessions, which took place in a cordial and cooperative atmosphere, in line with the excellent state of bilateral relations, both delegations reiterated the importance of this type of meeting.

In addition, they reaffirmed the willingness of their respective governments to continue carrying out joint actions to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the immigration and consular field, in order to guarantee a regular, orderly and safe flow of travelers. (Text: ACN) (Photo: Cubaminrex)
