Donation to the Family Care System in Cuba

Havana, April 9.- In order to improve the quality of services, free modules will be delivered to the 1,446 Family Care Systems (SAF) that benefit some 63,248 users throughout the country.

Milagros Álvarez, Gastronomy specialist at the Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN), told Granma newspaper that the donation from the People's Republic of China was initiated by the El Encanto unit, in the municipality of Regla, in this capital.

The specialist stressed that in other provinces such as Pinar del Río, Mayabeque, Sancti Spíritus, Villa Clara and Ciego de Ávila, part of the delivery has also been made.

He declared that the donation contains jugs, glasses, flat and deep plates, broth bowls, canteen sets, saucepans with lids and 15-liter buckets.

Elvín Darío Hernández Escalona, ??director of Gastronomy at MINCIN, added that among the items are the so-called food transporters that are delivered to each of those in need of assistance, so that they can take the processed products to their homes.

He clarified that the remaining containers will remain in the units to contribute to the efficiency of their work.

It was known that before beginning the delivery, the SAF were subjected to an inspection and subsequent constructive resuscitation, which included the painting and identification of each gastronomic or local entity linked to the activity.

The directors anticipate that at the end of this month of April all provinces will receive the module. (ACN) (Photo: @MincinCuba)
