Havana, April 17.- The A Bridge to Havana Festival dedicates its 12th edition this year to the more than five centuries since the founding of this capital, classified as a Creative City of Music, its organizers reported.
From April 26 to 28, Havana will dress in its best outfits to show off its status as the epicenter of the event.
This contest will bring together several Cuban artists and international guests on the chosen stages, such as Carlos Torres, Spanish pop and ballad singer-songwriter, known for his participation in the La Voz de España contest, in which he performed in 2016, they explained in press conference by the organizers of the event.
The Dutch singer Jessy Yasmeen will attend the festival as a special guest, who will perform in the first presentation on April 26 along with the Cubans Waldo Mendoza, Buena Fe and the group Karamba, whose director, Jorge Luis Robaina, is the founder and promoter of the show.
The second night will come with performances by the Los Van Van orchestra, Alexander Abreu and his Havana D'Primera, and the aforementioned Spanish singer.
This festival will have as one of its venues the Havana neighborhood of El Mónaco, a town located in the capital's municipality of 10 de Octubre.
The days will close with the Dutch guest, the group led by Robaina, and Manolín El Médico de la Salsa.
A Bridge to Havana is an event also organized by the Cuban Musical Recordings and Editions Company and by the new musical company 360 Producciones SRL, with the sponsorship of local authorities, the Institute of Music and the Ministry of Culture of the island. . (PL) (Photo: Taken from the Internet)
