Havana, April 18.- The sworn declaration of payment of taxes on personal income runs until April 30 and facilities have been created in the Tax Administration Offices so that all taxpayers can comply with the contribution Vladimir Regueiro Ale, head of Finance and Prices told the press.
He pointed out that they can also be carried out at bank branches, and they have an updated tax portal enabled, to which the taxpayer can access and download the models that are established for the payment of taxes.
For this reason, Regueiro Ale stated, we urge all natural persons, namely artists, creators, agricultural producers, self-employed workers, who are required to submit the sworn declaration and pay taxes, to do so before April 30.
He added that support has been established by the offices of the National Tax Administration Office (ONAT) in almost all municipalities, which provide extended hours service.
For this reason, he pointed out, an alert is issued, as a precaution, to taxpayers, because once the filing period has passed, then they will file the declaration with surcharges, or with the fines established by the tax penalty regime, " something we try to avoid.”
The head of Finance and Prices pointed out that paying taxes is a way to participate, with that contribution, which is symbolic, in the construction of a budget that covers all the nation's public expenses.
