Prime Minister of Cuba congratulates commander of the Revolution


Havana, April 28.- The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, today congratulated the commander of the Revolution and Deputy Prime Minister Ramiro Valdés Menéndez on the occasion of his 92nd birthday.

On the social network “Receive a hug with great affection on behalf of our people and Government,” he wrote on the platform.

Valdés was born on April 28, 1932 in the city of Artemisa, west of Havana, and from a very young age he was linked to the revolutionary movement.

After the victory of the January 1st. 1959, he assumed the positions of Minister of the Interior on two occasions, head of Information Technology and Communications; as well as, vice president of the Council of State and member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba.
