Mexican President thanks Cuban doctors for their work


Mexico, Dec. 24. - The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, exchanged with Cuban doctors who work in a community hospital in the northern state of Sonora and thanked them for their assistance work, the island's Embassy reported today.

"President @Claudiashein exchanged with Cuban doctors who work at the Vícam Switch community hospital, in Guaymas, Sonora, where she thanked them for their presence and the assistance work they perform, mainly in caring for the Yaqui people," the diplomatic headquarters said.

In a message through X, the legation of the largest of the Antilles in Mexico also shared images of the dignitary greeting the specialists and talking with them, during a visit to the federal entity on Saturday.

As part of bilateral cooperation, there are currently more than three thousand specialists from the island in this North American nation, who contribute to the health care of sometimes remote places, but also support the improvement of colleagues in this country. (Text and Photo: Cubasí)
