Havana, Feb 1st. - Cuba's Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla rejected the decision to restore a tough policy against Cuba announced Friday by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
"We reject decisions announced the US Secretary of State and deceptive pretexts with which he intends to justify the unjustifiable," the minister wrote on his X-rated account.
The Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister said that, like the measures of 20 January, there is no support for the new free hit to the people of Cuba.
Toughening criminal measures against the Cuban people will cause greater shortages, separation and an increase in emigration, Rodriguez Parrilla said.
He stressed that this is a new provocative act - of those who regain control of the Cuba issue, to promote irresponsible confrontation scenarios for purposes and results contrary to those proclaimed by the U.S. government itself. (Text and Photo: Cubadebate)
