Cuba will participate in the meeting of National Coordinators of the Celac


 

Havana, Feb 6th.- Cuban Vice-Chancellor Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, national coordinator to the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac), heads the delegation of Cuba that will participate in the XI Meeting of National Coordinators of that regional organization, on February 6 and 7 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

According to the website of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the Deputy Minister arrived in Honduras on Wednesday to attend the meeting, which will address the events planned by the Community in the coming months and will allow the exchange and coordination of positions on issues of interest to the region.

Through his X account, Rodríguez Camejo stressed that Cuba will ratify in the forum its invariable commitment to the Celac, as a genuine Latin American and Caribbean mechanism for political consultation and integration.

The Cuban delegation is also composed of Juan Antonio Quintanilla Román, deputy national coordinator to the Celac and Director General of Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Minrex); Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, Director General of Latin America and the Caribbean of Minrex; and Juan Roberto Loforte Osorio, Cuba's Ambassador to Honduras.
