Camagüey boosts air activity knowledge


 

Camagüey, Feb 10th. - The Cuban Air Navigation Company (ECNA) in Camagüey encourages children and young people to learn more about this highly specialized activity, with the aim of promoting interest in this work and attracting future workers from the sector.

Responsible for ensuring the safety and control of national airspace, the entity requires trained personnel, who are not trained directly in a university, and all preparation takes place at the Air Navigation Training Center, located in Havana.

Faced with the challenge of preparing new generations, ECNA will open the Aeronautics of the Future Interest Circle, the first in the aviation system in the Agramonte's territory, aimed at teaching them the necessary skills in this field.

The inauguration is scheduled for next Tuesday, at the Provincial Palace of Pioneers Camilo Cienfuegos, in this city, as a greeting to the 65th anniversary of Civil Aviation of Cuba, the coming 15 February.

It is a great challenge for us, but we are sure that we will develop a good job, in harmony with the social responsibility in the province and the country, and the beautiful profession of educating, said to the Cuban News Agency Julio Véliz Sanzo, Telecommunications engineer and technician A in aeronautical radio communication systems of the ECNA in Camagüey.

The club is intended to be extended it to other companies in the aviation industry in the region, where seven entities of this type are represented, out of the 14 that make up the entire system in Cuba, explained Véliz Sanzo, union leader of the aforementioned Base Business Unit, located at Ignacio Agramonte Airport.
