Camagüey, December 18. - The Camagüey-Ciego de Ávila Base Business Unit (UEB, for its acronym in Spanish), recognized as one of the most outstanding units of the Light Industry Marketing, Import-Export Company (ENCOMIL, for its acronym in Spanish), anticipates higher returns for the year 2026.

This projection is based on a solid productive chain, entry into new markets, and special attention to the quality of its products.

Maide López García, director of this entity, highlighted the notable fulfillment of the annual plan, which exceeded 108 million pesos as of November, thanks to significant contributions from sales and income. This collective stands out as one of the most stable of its kind in the country.

This positive performance aligns with government actions aimed at correcting economic distortions and revitalizing the economy, with a particular focus on strengthening marketing channels, such as e-commerce.

Through the platform www.tiendalotengo.com, the UEB offers a variety of essential products, including hygiene items and mattresses, with home delivery in less than 72 hours, demonstrating increased efficiency as the year closes.

Yisel Baryolo García, one of the salespersons with three years of experience at the UEB, also highlighted the retail store located in the Albaiza neighborhood, which operates from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., offering competitive prices.

Looking ahead to the new calendar, Encomil faces significant challenges, such as strengthening alliances with new economic actors, including the Aliadores MSME, as well as fulfilling commitments established with the Ministry of Domestic Trade.

With a team of 30 workers and a focus on growth through sales, purchases, space leasing, and transportation, the Camagüey-Ciego de Ávila Base Business Unit reaffirms its position as a national Vanguard, with an eye on diversifying its offerings to other markets such as construction materials.
