Cienfuegos, Feb 19th. - Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, today travels economic and social centers of great incidence in the province of Cienfuegos.
Roberto Morales Ojeda, a member of the political bureau of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of Organization, accompanies him on his first scale, visit the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes thermoelectric plant.

The units of Cienfuego’s generator receive capital maintenance, with a great thrust and prospects of enlisting block three for the month of April and four for June.
From Japanese technology, the blocks have a capacity of 158 megawatts each, and are considered among the most stable and efficient of the national electro -enemerogetic system. (Text and photo: ACN)
