Cuba’s National Job Fair

Cuba, Feb 20^th. - Cuba is preparing today to hold the National Employment Fair in all the provinces of the Caribbean nation, convened for next Friday by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

According to the agency, the event is a good opportunity for citizens to find job offers and training courses.

Usually these events are coordinated by the municipal and labor directorates, under the leadership of the local authorities.

The Employment Fairs are part of the actions carried out in the country to promote access to quality occupations and reduce informality at work, which is in line with the National Development Plan until 2030.

These events involve employers in different forms of management, such as state-owned enterprises, non-agricultural cooperatives, self-employed workers and also micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. (Text and Photo: Cubasi)
