Cuba, Feb 28th. - Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, today rejected the recent measures taken by the United States government against Venezuela, which will affect the South American country's oil exports.
In X, the Chancellor expressed solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution, President Nicolas Maduro and the Venezuelan people, in the face of this new imperial onslaught.
"We reject measures taken by the U.S. government against Venezuela, which attack legitimate income that that country receives. All our solidarity with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution, President Nicolas Maduro and the Venezuelan people, in the face of this new imperial onslaught."
President Donald Trump revoked the license that allowed the U.S. oil company Chevron Corporation to operate in Venezuela's oil sector, a move that will enter into force on March 1st and blocks the export of Bolivarian crude to U.S. refineries.
After the announcement, Maduro said that no country or threatens the nation will intimidate the nation and stressed that people calling for aggression against Venezuela will be brought to justice.
