Camagüey, Mar 7th. - With the objective of contributing to the replacement of imports and the development of the nation, the Maduc de Camagüey industrial estate, which is part of the Base Base Business Unit of the blind of Ávila, diversifies its production to fulfill the commitments established by 2025.
During a recent visit to the province, Saily Rodríguez Lam, general director of the Cuban company of the furniture, stressed that Agramonte’s collective has shown positive results in recent months and is projected to improve its indicators to contribute to the increase of three percent of the 2024 plan, which represents approximately 800 million pesos.
To achieve this goal, Rodríguez Lam stressed the commitment of the men and women of the eight EUB in the country, especially of the Camagüeyano workshop that seeks to improve their results through deliveries to the tourist pole of Camagüey, in particular to Cayo Cruz.
Wisley Vázquez Pérez, head of the Industrial Polygon, emphasized the importance of systematically working with national production scrubbing for the manufacture of armchairs, night tables and cribs, the latter destined for the basket program of the Ministry of Internal Commerce.
The national director called to promote chains and use national wood in order to generate income, in addition to an export plan of 200 thousand dollars to generate currencies for the country, as well as the implementation of online sales.
In Camagüey the production of alternative items such as posaollas and other home utensils, offered at affordable prices thanks to the joint effort of the 47 workers of the industrial estate.
Among the products that the entity markets by state commission are included living and dining room furniture, tables for computer equipment, baskets, as well as furniture for offices and hotel rooms, allocated to tourism, to the network of units of the Ministry of Internal Commerce and other sectors.
