Nuevitas, Camagüey, Mar 12th. - The Red Cross community project, based in the Aurelia Castillo primary school in this municipality in northeastern Camagüey, prepares infants with techniques to alleviate human suffering in any contingency situation.
Rolando Sánchez Guzmán, secretary of the Red Cross Nuevitas Branch, commented that they took into account the structural conditions of the campus that presents areas where falls can occur and welcomes small schoolchildren.
"It is therefore important that the 16 fifth-grade pioneers have first-aid knowledge which allows them, if necessary, to minimize the impact of the injured person’s illness until they receive specialized care.
In addition, the support we receive from infants and family instructors is commendable, as they contribute to the correct development of activities", added Sánchez Guzmán.
Similarly, the initiative of the community project in the "Aurelia Castillo" strengthens the quarry which, from the circle of interest in the pioneer palace Antonio Ñico López, of Nuevitas, forms a part of the possible future health professionals and the Red Cross.
