Camagüey, April 9th. —Under the lights of Camagüey's iconic Avellaneda Theater, the Provincial Assembly of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) celebrated its 64th anniversary with a vibrant gala under the motto "All for Cuba."

The event brought together children, adolescents, educators, and families for an evening where art and commitment merged on a single stage.

Masterful performances by magician Henry Artists of the Cuban Magic Theater, along with soloists, the Ilusión Dance Group, and the Areito Circus, made the evening a moment filled with color, emotion, and talent.

To be a pioneer in Cuba is to be part of a great story, to carry the legacy of heroes in your heart, and to proudly assume the commitment to build a future of triumph.

In this context, the event was not only a celebration, but also a recognition. Institutions such as the Camagüey Raw Materials Recovery Company and the Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz Comprehensive Training School were recognized for their unwavering support for the comprehensive development of the new generations.

Their work, along with that of educators and guides, strengthens the values ??and dreams of those who are today the nation's successor.

The excitement grew when tributes were paid to key figures in the work of the OPJM, such as Nurys Vázquez Palacio, provincial methodologist; Osvaldo Don Rodríguez, technician of the Pioneer Explorers Movement; and Mercedes Escudero Olazábal, methodologist of the Provincial Education Directorate.

The honorees received the thanks of an organization that grows thanks to their daily dedication. Their names were etched in the memories of those present as symbols of dedication and love for the education of young people.

As the musical notes and applause echoed throughout the theater, it was clear that this gala was more than just a spectacle: it was a reminder that pioneers are the future, but also the present. (Text and photos: Maykel Torres La Rosa/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
