Nuevitas, Camagüey, Apr 19th.- Various actions to contribute to the well-being of the population are undertaken in the 10 de Octubre Thermoelectric Power Plant, of this city of the northeast Camagüey.
The workers of the plant, the Business Maintenance Unit, the Electrical Central Maintenance Company (EMCE) and the so-called ECOI 8 (Buildering Company of Industrial Works) assume work to solve breakdowns in block 6, and that contribute, in the shortest possible time, to the National Electroenergy System.
Also, these days, the electric brigade at 10 de Octubre is working on the assembly of the electric engine of pump 2 of the Corojal, for the improvement of the supply of water to the population.
On the other hand, the collective keeps in sight the continuity of the labor force through the event Puertas Abiertas, through which they offer vocational and professional training to the new pine trees.
The men and women of the electricity sector in Nuevitas are also preparing to celebrate with joy the International Day of the Proletariat, the coming 1st of May, and before the date they will hold sports meetings and voluntary work to contribute to the production of food and the beautification of the center.
