Florida, Camagüey, May 13. - Beekeepers in the municipality of Florida are promoting actions to celebrate World Bee Day on May 20th, an essential insect in the normal functioning of natural processes and with indisputable weight in the country's plans for obtaining foreign currency.
According to the information offered by managers and communicators of the Floridian brigade, belonging to the Camagüey Beekeeping Base Business Unit (UEB), among the activities already carried out, an expofair and marketing of hive products in the province’s capital stood out, to which media talks related to the life, care and economic importance of bees will be added.
The fulfillment, to date, of the Florida Beekeeping Brigade's production plans for 2025 also constitutes a welcome recognition of World Bee Day, even though the fuel shortage in April ruined the volumes of honey agreed with the Company.
