Camagüey’s farmer: National Avant-Garde

Camaguey, May 15th. - The local farmer from Lugareño Blanca Victoria López Guerrero climbed a new rung in her career by conquering the status of National Avant-Garde for her good performance the past calendar.

Associated with the Credit and Services Cooperative (CCS) Raúl Gómez García, in addition to its president, this small farmer residing in the municipality of Camagüey over fulfilling all the productive commitments of 2024.

At the close of last December, this female entrepreneur gave the industries about ten thousand litres of milk, half a ton of meat and more than 260 quintals of fruit, volumes all above what was planned.

Blanquita, as she is lovingly called her family and friends, acquired a caballería of land in usufruct in 2008 where she develops livestock, her main line.

It also has a fruit growler in which it promotes different varieties, mostly mango; in addition to guava, mammee, tangerine, lemon, guabana, coconut and avocado. (Text and photo: Rodolfo Medina Hechavarría/Radio Camagüey)
