Florida, Camagüey, May 16.- The comprehensive inspection visit by the Provincial Party Bureau in Camagüey to the municipality of Florida, led by its first secretary, Walter Simón Noris, included meetings with representatives of more than 50 agricultural production bases and Azcuba, along with heads of companies, organizations, and entities that maintain working relationships with both sectors.
During the exchange, topics related to sowing, contracting, storage, and marketing of food were discussed, among others; the development and results of livestock farming; the control of processes; the role of the Party in each location; the exemplarity and leadership of the executives and boards of directors; labor and technological discipline, and the fulfillment of the plans and commitments for 2025.
In the midst of his reflections with those summoned to the meeting, Simón Noris called for increased oversight in defense of the economy's demands, upholding truth as a currency in analyses, and promoting the flags of victory, doing much more in every location with the available resources.
Walter Simón also toured the production centers of the advanced Florida farmers Felipe Alcántara Quintas and Jorge Hernández Mesa, who are advancing in a sustained way in the mission to promote large-scale planting of several crops such as yucca, banana and sweet potato, among other lines.
Accompanied by the highest municipal authorities, the first secretary of the Party in the province of Camagüey also visited the Sorbitol Derivatives Base Business Unit, where he appreciated the efforts of this group in fulfilling tasks relevant to the country's economic and social life.
