Céspedes schools strengthen drug prevention and control

Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Camagüey, May 21st. - Firmly convinced that the war on drugs can be won, schools in the municipality of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes are carrying out their third exercise to prevent and combat illicit drug use. This effort reaffirms Cuba's Zero Tolerance policy against this scourge.

Since last Monday, various comprehensive and preventive actions have been carried out, involving families and the community, with the aim of strengthening coordination among all social actors in the fight against drugs. To date, these actions have contributed to promoting attitudes of rejection of harmful and similar substances.

This exercise is part of an ongoing and fundamental battle for national security, based on Martí's vision that prevention is the greatest art of saving. Students, workers, and the entire community are called upon to join forces against a scourge that destroys homes, families, and individuals.

In the municipality of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, the strategic exercise against drugs continues, reaffirming everyone's commitment to protecting society. This joint effort seeks to strengthen preventive actions, increase surveillance, and promote local participation to reduce the use and trafficking of illicit substances, thus contributing to a safer and healthier community.
