Camagüey, local technological development project IRMANTTO, responsibility, community

Project IRMANTTO reflects solidarity, responsibility and leadership in the technological sector of Camagüey

Camagüey, Jun 10th.- Since its inauguration in 2018 the team of the local technological development project IRMANTTO in Camagüey has demonstrated great commitment and responsibility, achieving results that benefit the community and different sectors.

Among its achievements is the repair of the air conditioning system of the Paediatric Teaching Hospital of Camaguey Dr. Eduardo Agramonte Piña who had been out of operation. Thanks to the dedication of the collective, the system has been operational for more than two years, favoring patients and staff of the center.

The team has also improved the fishing sector by adapting compressors and capacitors in cooling systems, increasing their efficiency. In addition, they repaired Radio Cadena Agramonte's mobile transmission unit, ensuring real-time coverage and reaching listeners from outside.

The project has established alliances with educational institutions such as the Manuel Cañete Ramos Polytechnic to train students in related careers. Young people participate in work practices that in many cases include salary remuneration before completing their studies. Continuous training of new staff is also a priority, ensuring that they are up-to-date in the latest technologies and thus maintaining the quality of service.

In collaboration with Social Security and Labor Health, they carry out studies to install photovoltaic systems in homes of seven vulnerable families in the province, including children with chronic pathologies. In addition, they provide free attention in air conditioning maintenance to a visually impaired marriage, demonstrating their social commitment.

Alexander Pactorecio Fernández, representative of the project, said that these actions reflect the team's solidarity and responsibility to the community. Looking ahead, they are working with the PICLA project to install photovoltaic systems in several companies and institutions, such as banks and genetic companies, already in the process of about 15 entities.

Currently, the group provides services to more than 100 institutional clients. His dedication is not only changing the local landscape, but also motivates others to follow his example, consolidating a reference in social responsibility. (Text and photo: Zenia Donet García/Radio Cadena Agramonte)
