Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, Camagüey, Jun 12th. - In the municipality of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes under the motto Donating saves lives, the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in coordination with the health sector celebrate a day in homage to voluntary blood donors, as in all of Cuba.

From last Saturday until June 14, this initiative seeks to encourage altruistic donation and recognize those who actively participate in it. The main scenarios are the workplaces, especially the student schools and the communities, highlighting this time the Antonio Maceo

Grajales primary school is home to the activity.
In this context, a special morning was held with the aim of honoring and recognizing voluntary donors, including workers, family members and neighbours who are actively involved in this noble cause.

During the event, Yurisleydis Nerey Valdez, one of the volunteers highlighted for her commitment and dedication, highlighted the importance of blood donation as an act that can save lives.

Yaniuska González Ramírez, municipal coordinator of the CDRs, emphasized that each donation represents an invaluable opportunity to provide hope and continuity to those facing critical situations, reaffirming the positive impact that collective efforts have.
