Camagüey’s farmer cooperative works to maintain national lead

Camagüey, Jun 14th. - The members of the Cooperativa de Créditos y Servicios (CCS) Raúl Gómez García, of the municipality, make a great effort to fulfill all their plans this year and thus maintain the status of National Avant-Garde conquered in 2024.

This was assured by Blanca Victoria López Guerrero, president of the farmers base, who added that until the end of May all productive commitments are fulfilled.

She said that so far they delivered about 33 thousand liters of cow's milk, 2.5 tons of meat, 34 tons of food, 23 of vegetables and about two fruits, mainly mango.

As for the spring campaign López Guerrero said that 37 hectares of different crops already have been planted, mostly varieties such as cassava, sweet potato, pumpkin and corn.
